The new year has brought many challenges and we hope some memorable moments. After the Christmas break we began in earnest at Road America in the Virtual Endurance Championship.
In Division 1 Deuces Motorsport's Club LMP2 #15 and GTE #74 were looking to get 2022 off to a great start.
Over in Division 2 our #240 had a changed line-up for this event. Academy driver Rick Styles, had been promoted to the VEC Squad. Congratulations on your promotion Ricky. Also making a return to VEC driving duty's after two years was Nick Newcombe. Its been slow progress at times, with self doubt the final hurdle to overcome after suffering from Covid 19 back in 2020.
With P1-Gaming Round 1 fast approaching our Academy drivers are preparing well and we hope for a good result to build confidence to the guys. The times and lap consistency is looking good in comparison to other squads in the GTE class. Rui, Paulo and Jorge are putting the time and effort in to give themselves the best opportunity to match their own goals as far as the season is concerned.
Full report on their efforts will follow next month.
After assessing our 2022 schedule Deuces Motorsports Club have taken the decision to enter GTR24H Season 2022.
Although initially not in our plans as three of the dates clash with P1 Gaming events, which obviously would bring added pressures organising driver line-ups.
Fortunately within both the LMP2 Squads and GTE Squads a detailed programme was formulated, with drivers assigned to both Championships.
Round 1 for GTR24H is 12 Hours of \Matsusaka.
Preparation's are going well for both LMP2 Squad and our GTE Squad members.
After winning at the last two events in 2021 Season, Deuces Motorsports Club will be hoping for a hat-trick of wins at GTR24H.
Race links will be available from Official practice onwards to follow the progress of our cars.
#15 Squad Begin P1 LMS Championship
Deuces Motorsports Club, Oreca O7 LMP2 Squad take to the track in the P1 Gaming e.V Le Mans Series Championship! Although last year we had some success, with a well deserved win at Suzuka, and podium finishes, we knew that we underachieved in the Ligier. So this season we intend to correct that, and ensure we have more, podiums, and more wins to mount a serious challenge for the LMP2 Championship. With that said, we would like to introduce Deuces Motorsports Club LMP2 Oreca 07 squad for the P1 LMS 2022 Season. Csaba Kiss, Eric Nieth, Chris Gonzalez and Pim van Ark. We wish them every success as they begin the season this Saturday at Estoril. Watch the stream live on P1 Media from 12:00 GMT.

After finishing second in the LMP2 Class in the last campaign by a solitary point, our aim is to go one step forward to win the Championship. The team is under no illusion on how tough things will be. But our faith in the squad, and the process in place for each round, preparation, planning and execution makes us believe it is achievable. We are proud to announce our Deuces Motorsports Club #15 Oreca 07 LMP2 squad for the coming season:
Robert Paun, Csaba Kiss, Eric Nieth, Darius Andrei and Balazs Varro

Here at Deuces Motorsports Club, this weekend 26th February will see the team begin its journey in the P1 Gaming e.V Le Mans Series Championship! We will field a three car entry, one Oreca O7 LMP2 and two Aston Martin Vantage GTE class cars.
With that said, we would like to introduce Deuces Motorsports Club GTE Class entry in P1 LMS 2022 Season. Late last year we formed Deuces Academy, to bring drivers through to learn and grow, not just on the track, but off it also. Learning to build set-ups, and learn as much as possible about our chosen platform RFactor 2. We have strong system in place and have seen success already with Ricky promoted up to a senior squad within the team.
We are proud to announce our Deuces Motorsports Club #173 Aston Martin Academy Squad for the coming season will certainly be a tough debut, but we feel this will be a great learning experience for the guys. Rui Reis, Paulo Reis and Philipp Baur.
Our second GTE entry in the Aston Martin we are also proud to announce is our Deuces Motorsports Club #174 Squad for the coming season. Dylan Klaver, Nick Newcombe, Roy De Muinck and Tonnie Jansen. We wish them well in what will be a strong championship. Round 1 the 6 Hours of Estoril takes place on Saturday 26th February, and will be broadcast on P1 Media channel, from 12pm.
The month of April was a busy but fruitful month, and that is certainly an understatement! With two podiums in VEC at Nurburgring, a track not always blessing us with luck. Followed closely with an absolutely stellar weekend at a track Deuces has in its time had great success at!
Firstly over in Nurburgring, both our #15 LMP2 Squad finally were able to translate their pace, patience and preparation and into a P3 in class. Not only is this well deserved, but the quality of opposition gives rise to a bright and hopefully successful final event come June at Le Mans.
Our GTE #74 Squad pushed through some very tough times over the previous four races to come through like the sister car into a P3 podium finish. Once more adversity has dealt the guys a tough hand at times. But undeterred they stuck to the principles, and finally got their rewards.
The final race of Season 14 as always is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, both squads of drivers will be ensuring no stone is left unturned to squeeze every ounce of speed and balance from the cars. This race is always tough and tests our drivers to the maximum. But with victory's at Le Mans last time we raced there, still fresh in our minds. We know anything, and everything is possible once more.
Links for Qualifying and the race will be posted in the very near future. Race 6 - 24 hours of VEC Le Mans takes place 4/5th June 2022.
The Sebring Rain brings Victory!
Sebring was a race that both our Squads will look back on as great day. Its been a long time since we had a clean sweep of our cars entered in an event. Both our #74 GTE took a well deserved win, but our #15 LMP2 Squad gave themselves a first win in class as well!
Victory for our Aston Vantage GTE was very welcome giving them a good cushion at the top of the standings, but proved to be a turning point in the fight with MPE (Musto - Pescara ADG) who failed to take the chequered flag. Meanwhile our #15 LMP2 have brought themselves to only being 14 points of joint leaders on 64 points, SEM9 Axle and Burst Esport Gooddr.
With the next event taking place in July, as a team we can throw our full force into making the chase for GTE honours and LMP2 honours a top priority.
It won't be easy, as Sao Paulo which next on the calendar, is a track which throws up weather patterns that can change a race in a matter of seconds. Preparation as always will be key, and Deuces Motorsports Club will not let the success of April blind us to what is still needed to reach our goals for 2022.
What a Season so far we have had, so many highs, enjoyed great races and victory's.
The team has learned many great lessons, our core values have come to the fore in many aspects of our season and will continue to guide us as we move forward.
Virtual Endurance Championship 14 is in the books, Deuces Motorsports Club #74 GTE entry finished in a strong P4 at the showpiece Le Mans 24 Hour event. Sadly issues befell our other entries.
In EEWC Championship our #74 leads the standings, and our #15 sits nicely in P3 in LMP2 class.
The weekend of 23/24 July sees us the team take in Sao Paulo in GTR24H and also Le Mans in P1 Gaming e.V Special Events Series. The team is fielding a very strong squad for both events and links will be available for both.
Finally preparation's for are still ongoing as we head into VEC S5, team line ups and car choice with tire updates seem to old the key to unlocking the potential in the cars in the GTE class. Stay tune for updates on the chosen line-ups and the car chosen to carry the famous Deuces Motorsports Club colours.
This season sees Deuces Motorsports Club switch from last seasons BMW M8 GTE, to the Ferrari 488 GTE.
The Team has been hard at work for many weeks now. The composition of the squads and making sure the testing has been worthwhile on many fronts.
#74 is driven by Adam Baldwin, Vojta Polesny, Juha Maki-Joupi and Michal Sedlacek
#73 is driven by Joao Barbosa, Max Kallinich, Eric Schmieder and Roy DE Muinck
#271 is driven by Pim Van Ark, Tonnie Jansen, Rui Reis and Chris Gonzalez
What a week for Deuces Motorsports Club, no rest for a lot of our drivers.
While some rested and recovered from last weekends exploits in the GTR24h EEWC 24Hours of le Mans where #74 secured the GTE Championship! Our sister car #488 came P3 after 24 gruelling hours, to make it a great weekend for all involved at Deuces Motorsports Club.
It has been a long and gruelling season, with two 24 hour events, and 4 12 hour events. This is Championship has been won through, hard work, determination and a lot of skill. Decision making has been a key factor throughout the year and coming away with the title is everything they deserve and more.
Everyone at Deuces Motorsport Club are proud of the #74 Squad.
Vojta Polesny, Joao Barbosa, Juha Maki-Jouppi, Tonnie Jansen and Roy De Muinck
Our #15 Squad takes P3 in the GTR24H EEWC Championship 2022,

Unfortunately we were unable to go one step higher after finishing P2 last season by a point. The team took a great win at Sebring along with our GTE Squad and stood on the podium at other events. But a clash of calendar at times meant missing events and early incidents at Le Mans halted a final push for points. But we feel 2023 LMP2 Squad can see a very different outcome.
Everyone at Deuces Motorsport Club are proud of the #15 Squad.

Seven days after the 24 Hours of Le Mans, while a lot of the squad rested, others dusted themselves down and went again yesterday in the RGPL Special event at Daytona.
Once more a two car entry #51 and #74 made the grid. Very similar to last weekend, both cars led at various stages of the race. It became obvious with 6 hours remaining it was three way battle with both Deuces cars, and Caspian Motorsport each pit stop the lead changed. Unfortunately with #51 hit with a drive-through for a late move by a back marker, and pedal issues and a pit stop infringement for #74. We could not stop Caspian Motorsport taking the win.
Well done to them on a great fight for well over half the 13 Hour event, hopefully meet up soon on track to continue the fun.
Now our attention turns to Nurburgring Nordschleife 24 Hour run by P1-Gaming e.V. where once more a two car entry go again.
Stay tuned for more news on that coming very soon. With livery for our GT3 entries and driver line-ups for #73 and #74 cars.
As we come to say farewell to 2022, its fitting we look back on an extraordinary year, with the highs certainly outdoing the lows!
As a team Deuces Motorsports Club has been blessed to have taken part in many events over the months, have put in many many miles on the track, with many hours of training, practicing every kind of outcome in preparation for each and every race. Have been a victim of drivers going for the inevitable 'gap' that just was not there, and cost the team an historic win. Came back soon after a couple of races later, and claimed that win after dusting ourselves down and going again. Racing against the best of the best and dominating in the toughest category, and constantly proving we are there for a reason, and intend to stay there, despite the gulf in finances and support these highly sponsored teams enjoy. Along with many other teams, we work hard and prepare as best we can, and we are a match for anybody with our knowledge and dedication.
This year has been a busy yet satisfying year, our roster of drivers has given us the opportunity to field three cars in the Virtual Endurance Championship!
Not only that, two cars are in Division 1.
Car #271 placed in Division 2, at Monza, having sadly lost the win, came back and won Race 2, putting that strongly felt disappointment behind them. In Race 3 they where a victim of a LMP2 at the famous corkscrew while in P5. They will go again at Daytona in February and will not be deterred from the ultimate goal of joining their team-mates in Division 1.
Car #73 scored a podium in Race 1, which means all cars in VEC have a podium, a race win for the team could happen at Daytona, as members of that squad have tasted victory there very recently while racing in the SRVN Enduro Championship!
Over in the GTR24H Championship Deuces Motorsports Club became GTE Champions, and also claimed Third Place in LMP2 Championship.
The effort and commitment in a long season with four 12 Hour races and two 24 Hour races can not be underestimated. Everyone at Deuces Motorsports Club are proud of the efforts through 2022 of the squad.
Next year we go again, we hope for more success and will give all we can to prepare and execute to the level we expect of ourselves. Can we match the results of 2022, which has been exceptional, in short we believe,
'Yes'!
